4 kids, 6 years, and 30 pounds later.....this is me!!!
With our 10 year anniversary fast approaching, my 30th birthday approaching even faster, and the first exotic holiday without kids, it is time for me to shed the pudge and get into that sleek little black dress. By next year's Christmas party, I am going to be the "hot wife".
So I was telling a nurse friend of mine about this pain I have in my side that is accompanied by a large lump. The doctor has done x-rays and ultrasounds only to come to the conclusion that I am likely impacted. No surprise. I never have regular bowel movements. She has multiple health problems herself and told me I had to try this 30-day cleanse offered by a company called Isagenix. A few things turned me off.
1. It's multi-level marketing. I hate that. They usual lie so you buy their product.
2. It's expensive. Like 300$ or so.
But I am going to try it anyways. I am sick of weight-watchers and counting points even though it works. If this is what I need to kick start my weight loss and start drinking more water (I hate water it makes me gag) and eating right........so be it. Right after Christmas of course as Christmas and 'dieting' don't go together AT ALL!!
I told my husband he could buy it for my birthday. He burst out laughing. "Yeah I can see the guys now" He said " So....what did you get your wife for her birthday?" Then he'd have to answer "I put her on a diet!" Well that's what he did. Lets see if it is going to pay off. Follow me along on my journey to the new and fabulous wel-being of yours truely. Who knows.....maybe I can inspire you to try it too. And if that's the case.....perhaps I can suck up the fact that it's multi-level marketing and sell it! But first....I have to prove for myself how amazing it is.
